W6NWG Station & Web Services Terms of Use

1. FCC Compliance & Licensing Use of any Amateur Radio transmitting equipment scheduled via this system is strictly limited to individuals holding a valid, current Amateur Radio license issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Users must operate within the privileges of their specific license class.

2. Prohibited Content & Conduct In accordance with 47 CFR § 97.113, the transmission of the following is strictly prohibited:

  • Obscene, indecent, or profane language.

  • Music, whistling, or other unauthorized signals.

  • Commercial communications or transmissions for business purposes.

  • Encrypted or encoded messages intended to obscure the meaning of a communication.

3. Assumption of Risk & Indemnity All transmissions made via the W6NWG station or remote equipment are the sole responsibility of the individual control operator. The Palomar Amateur Radio Club (PARC) and its Board of Directors bear no responsibility for any content transmitted, any FCC violations incurred, or any damage resulting from the use of this medium. By using these services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PARC against any legal actions or fines.

4. Account Security You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials provided via vault.palomararc.org. Any activity originating from your account will be attributed to you as the control operator.

5. Termination of Access The Board of Directors reserves the right to revoke access to the scheduling system and club equipment at any time for violations of FCC Part 97 rules or club bylaws.
